Haven't been on for a while so thought I would update on the progress, the Sport has been in and out of the garage for the past few months preparing for MOT which fortunately has passed, I've now decided to start chroming the engine and found a guy on ebay that does this quite reasonably priced. this has became an expensive hobby for me now

No progress to the car just yet been saving the cash, just had it into Bavaria yesterday there was a burning smell coming from it, but embarrisingly it was a plastic bag up the exhaust pipe someone playing a prank

Yeah, they look good depending the colour, i'm not keen on the angels on e30's either tbh
each to their own though
Emailed Performance Bmw Magazine few months back enquiring about a feature but wasn't eligible for a full photoshoot just on ther basis that i hadn't done some serious mods but said they would reccomend it for readers section just bought the mag yesterday not realising that they had put it in and gave me Car of the Month i'm more than satisfied with that

Few things still to be done including engine rebuild and full respray thats probably going to be it finished after that. won't be doing this at the moment trying to save money, have spent too much on this car, will get some more pics up soon

Wheels sold few months back but if your interested in Alpina style wheels i might know of someone who is selling but need refurbed he was asking for £100 which is cheap, will give him a phone when i get home see if he still has them.scurran83 wrote:hey daryl just found this thread. u gettin some shit bout the lights? they look the bees on that car. Major problems with the sport recently and now gradually starting to think is it worth it, thats twice now within the last few months that the head has had to be removed as the Rocker Valves keep popping and each time costing £800 - £900 should get it back next Thursday though with all new genuine BMW parts so hopefully be ok after that, and i'm possibly contemplating selling for something newer, as much as i don't want to, it puts a lump in your throat after knowing that all the money you spend it can still fail on you.
