Hello,

I Have an BMW E30 '89. And i'd like to know more about the MSW wheels that are installed on my car. Can you take a look at the pictures and tell me something more about the rims? Production date? Serial number? Ads? Production numbers? Rarity? Offcourse the best I can get is a scan from a folder our add.

I hope to get any repsonse I'm very interested in the background from the rims on my car. I cant find anything about the brand MSW on the internet. Only thing i know is that it means: Motor Sport Wheels and that it is a sistercompany of OZ. But they don't respond my emails.

Thank you in advance,

Greetings Jos Wings

I know the couple of sets I've seen (Dad used to have a set and I bought a set a few years back) bent all to easily!

Not seen them for sale in years though.

Sorry that's no help at all! :(

Welcome to the Zone dude :D

My 325i pre was a German import and came with some similar MSWs to those. I spun the car coming off a roundabout and clipped a kerb and completely destroyed one of them. Suppose its a bit unfair to blame the wheel as I bent the suspension arm too.

Shame really cos they look good but replacements are really hard to get, at least in e30 measurements, there's always loads for Mercs and Audis on ebay Deutschland and even if you find them they're really expensive when you factor in postage from Germany.
These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

I had mail from MSW Dubai:
Hello,

Sorry but we have no information on this wheel. It is a very old design that was produced by OZ Racing in Italy but other than this we cannot identify it. Even if you could find spare wheels the cost would likely be very high. If you require replacement items for your 320i we have many options available from our stocks so please pay us a visit and I'm sure we could fine a suitable alternative at reasonable cost.

Best regards

8O ive seen a set of them, centre cap's were missing though, in my local scrappy .. think i'll try get over there and see if there still there? when i saw them at first i thought someone had done a 5 stud conversion as they look more like a wheel fitted to E34 BMW's, then the closer i got i saw they where only 4 stud :)
