When I sent mine back for rebuilding,it only took a couple of days

Will obviously take a little longer to add the threads and adjusters to the strut bodies

I was well impressed with there customer attitude and turnaround time

And on this point you are absolutly certain??? Do you have a pic of these Z3 plates?
I'm still uncertain, this is a lot of money to shell out in one hit, not that i'm slagging! It looks the mutts nutts 8)
Do GAZ require a pair of struts first or is there a surcharge?
Cheers,
I've got the Gaz coilovers and the only strengthening mine has on the rear towers is a strut brace (whch is effectively Z3 plates with a bar between them).

No problems so far and I've done 2 trackdays and about 2500 miles (some of those are on very poorely surfaced antqiue Roman roads).

I'm registering my interest on these.
I have just disassembled my front struts ready for sending to Gaz anyway so a group buy seems like the sensible thing to do.

Might be wrong here (so please correct me if so), but i think you need to send the 51mm struts to be used rather than the 45mm struts.

I am building my E30 to enter in the PBMW cup (starting end of March). I just need to check if we can run coilover rear suspension as most of the competitors cars ive seen have been the shocker and separate spring affair.

As agreen has said, i will just need to look into spring rates. But i'm provisionally in.

Can we definitely confirm they are coilover rears ? Cheers.

They're sexy!!!
Shame I'm not ready for these. What's the normal price on them. Would be perfect for the track car, might get some during the summer.

i'm not after any as i have ledas already but a point to check with GAZ...
Do they clear the fuel breather pipes etc that run through the offside rear arch? the ledas don't so at present, i've still got my old pigtail springs on and have removed the springs from the rear coilover bodies. i think the pipes will need re-routing inside the car or something...

hello dude

prob go for same as mine: 600 front 300/350 rear

should be a good starting point and if necessary you can change from there. Those rates are track biased, even though mines a daily.

MOFO! That is perfection. Don't have the money yet though - poo! I was unaware of true rear coilovers being available. I will save my pennies for a set, hopefully the group buy will still be on! Brilliant.

Yeah haha, this is really good, even if I miss this group buy I can hold out til another one hopefully comes around, or I'd happily promote Gaz in the British Drift Championship this year for the same trade price in a few months.

If this GB is still on then I am definitely interested. However I have run LEDA coilovers in the past on my E30 race car and the rears did catch in the arches. I want to be sure that this won't happen with the Gaz GGA units as they are going on a road/trackday car this time and I want to keep it a little more civilised.

Elf - I'll send you a PM with my details and would really appreciate a call from someone at Gaz to confirm spring rates and potential clearance issues etc. If that all checks out OK then I'm in and I'll get the IS on stands.
