I saw 2 today...went like this
Car 1. Service required thing pined up soon as i started the car, sales man said "don't worry we can just plug the laptop in and clear that", right....oh i said, can i have a look at the service book. The car had done 57k. There was a stamp at 56k which had no address, name or phone number on it, it simply said "AUDI approved service" with a squiggle sinature. The sales man threw me the keys with a smug "another victim" grim. I opened the boot and i think the prevous owner must have had a hungry dog. The top back part of the rear bench was totally missing with chew marks all over the seat. All 4 alloys were (no exaggeration) destroyed by kerb rash with completly slick tyres. Bodywork was covered in scratches. This was a 3 year old 55k mile car !!
