as you can see from the dyno the power isn´t coming on until after 4k and it´s actually wanting to make power towards 8k, but this engine won´t be reving that high so I´ll be altering the cam timing to move the low end down and then bump up boost a little bit.

It´s going to make way more torque and for sure more power.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Ah, didn't really see the rpm range that well the first time... iphone screen is pretty small :p

Still not at all too shabby and looking forward to the developments :)

Nice work man! Nice to see there's a good breathe of E30 turboes up in Iceland to match your volcanos. There will never be to many S50 turboes winkeye

Interesting dyno results, you drive on 98 octane pump fuel right?

I'm working on my B30 turbo setup (95 octane) and have talked alot to the Andreas@ PPF and they have started to offset grind the cams to less duration with good results, rapidly decreasing the engines knock sensitivity. Remenbering they had to adjust down the boost and pegging down a 595whp B32 turbo to 523whp to be safe within the limit of knock with stock cams.

They even recon to get 600hp in the engine on a B30 I'll need to offset grind the cams and drop til C/R to about 8,0-8,5:1. Your dynoboost is then very interesting in that respect. Not lots of non E85 turboed S50 around to compare to.

Have you endured problems with the crank case ventilation? Lots of S50 turboes seems to have those problems. I see they weld on a ventilation pipe from the valvecover to try to ease. Don't know what I'll do about that yet..

Keep up the good work.

This car is in the UK.

It uses 99octan Vpower fuel only

It shows no tendancy to knock at 1bar boost so far.

Crank case ventilation has not been a problem.

Shows how well put together and well thought out it is innit?
