Having some trouble finding some answers to some questions I have on the m52 swap. I have bought an 95 E36 auto to use as a donor, and everything will be going into my touring.

I plan on using the m42 gearbox, so will be needing a 325 prop. Is there a difference in lengths of the prop between a coupe and a touring? Can I mix the front of one with the back of the other and have what I need or do I need to get a prop from a 325 touring if its going into a touring?

I believe the EWS system requires a matching ECU to the rest of the system. For the swap, I need a ECU from a manual car, correct? If this is right, what are my options for my ECU then?

There was another one I had, will post when I remember it.

There is no difference in the 2.5 prop, 2 door/4 door/Tourer,
so any 2.5 prop will fit,

The EWS (Key, module, ecu, receiver ring) that is on your E36 will work,

the auto E36's use a separate ecu for the auto box
M50 Turbo!!! :o I shall say no more :D

OK thanks.

So the ECU that is in the car now will work for the swap without any mods? I must of had this confused with another swap then.
