Say what. If you're sure the block has never been subject to overheating then give it a try without the timeserts surely?

Surely whoever is building your engine should be the ones sorting timeserts. They're the ones who have the engine in bits and can measure the threads etc. And also telling you if you even need them

well as i said before just thinking ahead and like to know what sizes others have used in the past. Block is a non over heated job
