Out of interest, are you running an electric PS pump now, or just manual rack? I'm interested in doing this also...

Kos is correct.
Though my car ,like rob0r, has been through an MOT without the PAS
belt connected and passed. Now I just put the belt on before a test and remove
it after. Belt is kept in the boot in it's original packaging.
