Really cheap for my calipers, I think they're quite pricey for standard e30 calipers.

Do you use them on the rear as well Theo? I was surprised how cheap they were for the Wilwoods. The standard fitment rear pads are £25 more on the prices I got from PFI. The people I work for are distributors so they get quite a handy discount. Will get some 01’s ordered up

I do yes but my rear calipers are the WMS 2 pot type - I think a set of pads for these calipers is £40 or so. Bargain!

Theo have you used the 7754? The pad thickness is 4mm more? How do you find the 01's last ie do they wear fast?

I've not, because that the wrong shape for my caliper - the extra pad thickness means they probably won't fit inside your calipers. You can get them with 12mm of material according to this - http://www.coordsport.com/attachments/P ... y_2012.pdf

In terms of durability, they are fairly good. I can't really remember how many trackdays they last for but they are vastly better than anything else in the same price range.

The drawings I found on the Wilwood website said that the calliper I have (dynapro) takes a 15.4mm pad so I've ordered the 7754s. PFI are only down the road so can always get them swapped I guess.

spoke to Hi Spec in dartford and the 7754 fits the dynapro and midilite so result.

cracking pad for great value so thanks to Rix ad Theo on this.

will be giving them a try next.

I am waiting for Rix to send a pic of the pads he has got from PF.

maybe you can cut the 7754 to fit the caliper fairly easy by removing excess area.

Modifying pads is a non-starter, having had a browse through the PF pad drawings on various sites I'm thinking that PF don't actually cater for your caliper which is a shame.

They do look a different shape to the photo of the EBC pads I have. Will suck it and see when I'm home next.

You'd be surprised at what GT motorsport teams are modding pads to make them fit. Just this weekend I've had to cut lugs off of Brembo pads for a GTE Corvette in the WEC.

Highly recommend PFC 01/06/08 if you can get them to fit (or make them fit) your calipers.

Had a play with the 7754 pads (16mm thickness) today on my calipers and compared them with the EBC Yellows I have in there at the moment.

The holes for the securing pin are in the same place as the EBC pads, it's just the backing plate needs modifying to allow the whole pin to pass through. This should make a better picture then what I am explaining:

I am taking my caliper and pads into PFB one morning this week to let them have a look and hopefully get something sorted.

Went into to PFB the other morning. Advice was to mod the backing plate as the decision to 'commision' a new pad lays with America and would be very pricey. So I'll be marking the ones I have up and getting them on the milling machine.
