I think I've worked out what I actually need now. I'll give you a call first thing monday morning - just writing this here so I can refer to it then really.

I didn't realise that the pulleys were a separate part from the tensioners themself, but having pulled it all apart I 'get it' a bit more!

So I'll go for the following:

Oxford green touchup paint (£8.72)
AC belt (£14.97)
Accessory drive belt (£23.64)
2x tensioner pulleys (AC & acc drive being the same part - 11281748131?)
1x acc drive idler pulley (11287841228?)

& I can't find it on realoem, but I assume there should be a plastic cover behind the o/s headlamp?!

Another random thought was that I didn't get much history with my E34, just a (stamped up) service book... Is there likely to be any info stored on a central system eg spec, purchase price, recalls, service history even? & if so, is there any way for me to go about getting hold of it?!

Best thing todo is call the dealer who did the services to find out that info because of the age of the car all that will be on the old system (DMS) which i cant get into sorry
