ho wcan you read the eml wihout geting the car plugged in? i heard somthing about a blink code can anyone help me out?

I think that only applies to the E36..........

Are you refering to fault code reading with the "stomp test" on the accelerator? If so then you can't do it because you don't have an engine warning light in a UK e30. You can wire one up from the c101 connector on the firewall with a 12v 1.2w bulb but obd1 ain't that hot and won't tell you a great deal.
If I can't fix it I'll f**k it up so bad nobody can!!

its a 95 e34 525 24v not an e30 does the stomp test work on it?

EML = Extreme Monetary Loss.
Particularly when that light comes on with a 750i E32.

obd1 is sh1t in general, it didnt even notice my cam sensor was unplugged!
