
Urgent E46 problem.Help please

get a bit of heat on the manifold, knock the stud out, you can use a bolt to replace the stud until you get another.

E46 manifold studs are welded to the manifold - just like the E36 318iS and Ti. You will need to beat the threaded end until it pops out, or grind the head off. The correct stud is around £4 from BMW.

Ahh couldn't pop them out the other side so going to drill them out and fit 4 new ones. What should I put on them to stop them corroding again?

Just phoned BMW in Notts. £10 each for the studs!!!!!!!!
