its only my opinion, no offense meant, see what you say about the engineering, in the pictures it looks like they come apart and are a 5 spoke alloy hidden underneath?....

They look ok without the covers, but look the nuts with the turbines or throwing stars

what coilovers have you fitted, also what is the ride like.

too crashy etc and how much ride height adjustability have you got?

hi, they're hottuning jobbies. ride is great, nice and firm but not crashy. the rear its a little bouncy, but i'm putting that down to it being just about sat on the bumpstop, i haven't got round to shortening them yet.

loads of height adjustability, no idea how much it's been dropped, but seeing as it was like a 4x4 before it must be loads!

i've got more room in the arches, and more thread both front and rear, the limiting factor is the front chassis rails which already smack the ground if i drop over a speedbump at work a touch too fast

they come with helper springs too so you can wind them all the way down and the springs won't drop loose.

seem to be really nicely made, can't understand how they do it for the money tbh, and i was set to be pretty sceptical being used to a bilstein and h&r, fully pollybushed setup on the m3.

Thats cool, i know what you mean about the chassis rails, i have a 328i sport which is lowered slightly on bilsteins and it hits if speed bumps are taken too quickly.

won a pair for £5 on ebay, nicely made, perfect size, not too kevvy, but much nicer than a rusting pea shooter, fitted to a standard replacement backbox as i only wanted looks not a boyracer sound or the dubious 'performance' gain of a sports exhaust costing 5 times as much

i need to be able to drive it loaded up without scrubbing.

theyre already 8in wide, et20, which everyone says wont fit an e36, and the 215 tyres have a slight stretch, but still scuff the sidewall on the rear arches,

I do like those wheels, always been a bit of a fan (no pun intended) of that style. Annoying how "a little runabout" starts planting seeds and growing into more and more of a project .

nah, it's staying pretty much as it is now, maybe the odd small tweek now and then.

might actually be swapping the wheels for something else in the collection, as i quite fancy putting the turbines back on the m3 as winter wheels if i ever get it fixed

sod all droop. the far side wheel is actually off the ground, so it's not the arb helping push the wheel up either. infact, at full droop the arch gap is only about 2 inches bigger than when the car was on standard suspension sat on the ground
