It can be but what are the other options and is tarmac or gravel.

They are a lot cheaper than 02's or Escorts but there are cheaper cars that could be better

The e21 'legacy' if you like is that they can have a wayward tail through high speed turns. Of course they are antiquated by todays standards too. Coilovers and a good set up tend to eliminate the former.

How many M3's are following me here back in 96 ? So no, not bad at all really.
