can any one talk me through wiring a push button start switch to a 1986 e30 please. thanks.
does anyone know what colour wires i need to take from the ignition block to the new switch ect.[/code]

hi, yeah want to keep the key for electric and steering lock.zaust wrote:black yellow to the push start as this is the starter. You want to leave the key for the rest of the electric and steering lock. ???

thanks very much, so the 2 terminals on the back of the new switch, the one marked "to source" goes to the black and yellow, the other marked 12v+ goes to any live is that right?zaust wrote:Just the black/yellow then.
