While getting my car ready for spraying over the weekend I removed the side mouldings, I was originally going to de-chrome these and refit but the car looked really nice without them. I am going the euro route so I recon this would look nice. But before I go ahead has anybody got any nice pics of something euro look without the side mouldings?

Ah but you see there is no going back, plus they are actually handy! They are perfectly placed for protecting the doors if opened on a wall for instance. But without your gonna end up dented.... As said before if anybody has ANY pics at all it would be appreciated

I can't decide whether to go all smooth, or wether to fit a tec-2 kit on it!!!!!!!

Was thinking the other night about removing the locks and handles (dunno how the rear doors will open though!!) and possibly more stuff!!
Not sure if it'll look odd without the side moulding though, 'cos it lines up with the front and rear bumpers. Don't think they could really be smoothed in very well!!

Someone must be able to photoshop the side mouldings off?!?!?

I tried, but i'm crap!!

Can't decide if i like it or not - looks quite good i think, (apart from the mirors!), but it'd depend on what other mods you have. Would have to be a bit carefull with it me thinks!!

I'm still undecided wether to put on the full tec-2 kit, or go all smooth!!!!!!!!!

I just don't know!!!!!!!!!!

When ya remove the side mouldings, is there a little 'channel' there that it sits in then?? Like the one in the last pic. Looks quite cool without that filled in!!

Are pre facelift doors different?? I have the channel like the last pic not the first. I think I'll leave it, I can always do it later. It looks great when going for the euro look but Im nervous cuz if I think it looks sh1t I'm stuck with it
