3mm?! christ on a bike!
What sort of CR are you expecting with that dude?
Perhaps try going to your friendly local machine shop or autofactor and trawling through their catalogues for belts that are 1 tooth longer or something?

Think if it's not fitting now, it's unlikely to fit when the head gasket's been squidged down by a couple of tenths of a mm, unless it's just marginal that is.
Hope it works out for you though dude, how'd you end up with a 10.2:1 CR though?

are you sure that is correct? mine is using a 320i head which gives a c/r of 10.2 so I should think yours would have been lower than that. Was it an early v.high comp block or the later high comp block?blingsta wrote:by using eta bottom end and 325 head !!
I got the later block which if I put a 325i head on would give me about 9.4 c/r.
The Eta's have a slightly taller block, so maybe it's the Eta belt that is longer?blingsta wrote:ive been told the belts have 127 teeth, but they also do 128 teeth belts, you reckon that maywork??

You tried the 128 tooth one yet mate?
Reckon that'd be the best place to start if not
