I've only got the colours/uses that I've taken from our '88 325i. Some of the colours are different, but the uses match up with yours. For my M50 conversion, I'm also not using pins 2, 3, 10, 16, 17 or 19. I had pin 20 as red/yellow and being the supply for the ABS (which we've removed from our track car). I'll be using pin 12 as my engine ECU check light connection, by connecting to Pin 8 of the engine harness and then connecting to pin 4 of connector A/C1 of the instrument cluster .

I have the pin-outs/colours for a '92 non-vanos E34 M50 if you need them, plus a full colour wiring diagram i've drawn up if you want it :D

Sent them to your hotmail account mate, from mine (mike_sayer@hotmail.com). Sent a spreadsheet with the pin changes, and the colour diagram of the M50 harness. Good luck!

Mike

I tracked most of my engine running issues to a poor engine/frame earth,be well worth spending £2 or £3 on a brand new lead.... :D

A tip that was given to me (by danthe) was to use 2 earth leads (one each side of the engine) as the heat from the exhaust manifold tends to fry the original on the o/s. Put another on the n/s of the engine as a belt and braces approach, won't cost much and may save you alot of greif..
