i had a chat with the guys at ppf, they said to,
install arp studs with provided lube to and bottom,
drill rivets from gasket and spray loctite on each layer on each side,
torque head to 30ft/lbs wait ten mins, then to 45, wait ten, 55, wait ten, then 65
wait for a bit, run the car to temp then check torque.

long prosses but worth getting right when installing an mls, to stop any leaks

1. accurately measure and record the length and thread of each bolt, if for whatever reason the head has to come off again re-measure each one if within tolerance and spec they can be reused saving you money.

2. make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and lint free

3. smear little arp assembly lube on the head bolts threads and lightly hand screw into the block

4. remove the bolts again after atleast 30mins

5. put the headgasket on

6. put head on

7. smear more assembly lube on the bolts and refit by hand then leave for an hour

8. now torque it upto 30lb leave for few hours*

9. torque again upto 50lb leave for few hours*

10. torque ot up again 60lb leave for few hours*

11. then followed by 90 degrees*

*torque up in stages to whatever is specified i just used 30, 60, 60lbft as an example. The last time you torque them up is just 90 degrees. The longer you leave inbetween doing up the bolts the better, some people leave 4-6hrs or next day to re-torque to allow them to settle in.
