You know I saw those the other day and just compared them to busters, it looked to me like the mounting plate was on back to front.
Was it the firm in the West Midlands?
If so its on the doorstep :D

Cheers for those pics 8)

That brace above looks a bit different to mine i think. The end plates look thinner and the cut outs look bigger.

Im pretty sure he did. Its the only way the servo and plenum will fit together in the engine bay. Its how I did mine.

hi,yes i had to cut a small amount out.About 2 inches long ,by 1 inch wide.I also fitted a vw golf servo which is smaller, and i still had to move the whole lot over on the bulkhead by half an inch.I suppose i could have cut more out of the plenum chamber but i was minimising the amount needed to be cut out.

he moved the servo in front of the car

Yep, il a utilisé un mastervac + support et commande de 540i E34. J'en ai à vendre si tu veux.

For you Brits : there is still the E34 V8 servo assembly solution. But then there's not that much space available up front .

Does the E34 V8 have a remote servo then? (couldn't see one in the picture on real oem)

If I can use a radiator with a built in header tank I could fit one in I'm sure. Might even be able to do away with the pull bar brake pedal in that case.

i think the v8 one is on a long shaft like mk 2 escorts i think e21's were like this also.Servo sits near back of headlight.
I still think it will foul up every where. There would be no room for the air filter neither.

Hi Andy,
Conversion looks great.
1 Question, how did you do those bonnet vents??
My engine bay gets a bit toasty with a couple of turbos crammed in there!!

They were just cut out of a stainless steel machine panel and ,the bonnet cut and then vents welded into place. The one on the exhaust side kicks out a lot of heat, the one on the other side is a bit of a pain in the arse and i had to cover the back of it with a piece af aluminuim plate to stop rain water getting on the air filter.

Ste.
Cheers fella,im keeping an eye on your conversion it looks spot on,it'll be a really nice conversion when its finished.
I was thinking of making an oil fitting that you have got to convert the oil cooler lines to AN10 fittings.I still have my oil cooler to sort out as it is just fastened onto the bottom of the rad at the moment.
Also need some tasty wheels, the alpina reps (not bk's though) have got to go !

cheers

Excellent work!!

I am currently putting a S50B32 with a euro six speed in a US E30 M3 and need some help. I was wondering if you guys help me out?

1. I don't have the complete EWS system. I am missing the key, the antenna box and another EWS box. Can I bypass the EWS system? Can I use a any US e36 key/antenna box/two EWS boxes (all from same doner) with the euro ECU? Does anyone know a good junk yard in UK?

2. Is the iX brake booster and e34 m5 25mm mc better than 320 booster and e30 m3 mc if I was to use big brakes? Would all these require to cut the intake manifold?

3. Anyone dyno the differance between a single 3" exhaust vs dual 2"? What muffler did you guys use?

4. Did you guys use the Treehouse ECU plug? Is there another?

5. How did you get away from notching the subframe and bending the sway bar? What motor mounts did you guys use to allow the exhaust manifold to clear? I know some of you used costum manifolds but I like to keep the stock manifold in that I hear itâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s the best flowing.?

Thanks for the help

Hey all ive posted this up somewhere i just cant remember on which forum now...

AZEVEDOMotorsports use a suzuki swift servo and mc, it clears everything, he has pics on his conversion page, looks very interesting to say the least!
have a look below!
http://www.azevedomotorsports.com/galle ... mber=1

Also u can use the E32 735 or the 325ix servo
http://www.azevedomotorsports.com/galle ... temId=3138
http://www.azevedomotorsports.com/galle ... alNumber=2
look at the mc it looks like it hits the intake boot to the manifold, i think it just works....i think i like this one!!!! anyone??

Is the Suzuki servo a twin diagphram type like the iX? If it's just a single diaphragm, then it looks a bit short on surface area.

Apparently the suzuki one isnt up to the task, not enough vacuum. Its a single diaphram servo.

Did you fit the M3 style drop links to the struts? Any difficulties?

Suspension is the spax psx kit i bought for the sport about 4 years ago.Kit was 4 springs and dampers so i've just re used them.

I haven't fitted the m3 drop links yet Dameon,i need to do those next.
