Why did you sell your silver one? (it looked just as good as my one
My new tech1!! Borbets now on!
Moderator: martauto
I wont be asking much for it but the price will come down to how much it costs me to have the engine put in it. It needs more welding but whoever buys the car I'll put in touch with the bloke that did the rest of the welding so it gets done properly. Another £500 of welding work and it will be totally rust free.
Feel free to come and have a look at it whenever mate.

I think i know this car.
I lived in Germany for 8 years in the 80/90's. My mate Gerry Netherton bought this car new and tax free, and had it exported to BFG (British Forces Germany)
The red surround on the number plate means that the car has been purchased tax free and exported to Germany.
The car would have at first been registered in the UK,then exported to BFG
where it would have been given an exclusive BFG registration number.
Once the car was re-registered in the UK,it would've been given its original registration number.
I can remember after about 5 years Gerry decided to sell the car,he wanted 24k DM's for it, and a certain RAF Officer knocked on his door and offered him a cheeky 20k, it was none other than John Nicols, who was one of the downed pilots in Iraq.Needless to say Gerry turned him down.
If the car has any paperwork,it used to get serviced at Hammer's of
Moechengladbach.
Hammer's were a BMW Dealer in M'Gladbach, and i was often seen skiving in the showroom drooling over the wonderful BM's !
I always admired that car and its good to see its still going strong now.

I always wondered how seats in your cars are such a mint condition? No rips,no cracks....that's incredible. Most cars I've seen on zone are mint interior. Over here 90% are with ripped seats, I was looking a nice leather seats for mine, couldn't find decent ones in whole country

I've got Alpina badges on the wheels now, and Yes I know about the Tech2 Spoiler, but I don't think I like the look of the Tech1 on Lachs silver compaired to the Schwartz...
