Whats the BHP on them?

I was thinkin twins but these 1uzfe engines love singles, twins do give a great v8 bark tho! im also keepin the weight down ;)

Factory this version of the 1uz puts out about 265hp, mine will be around 300hp + :) enough lol about the same as the bmw v8s but these rev a little better hehe

Cheers, its a 1uzfe or more well know as a lexus v8, this is a special late version with more tq and power factory so im lucky.Even the older ones still go nuts! trust me, its a supra 5speed box

Nothin as yet for brakes mate, they are lighter engines than the m20 so it really does not need big brakes. Ive got good brake fluids and ebc pads with vented slotted rotors

What ahve you done with the servo etc?

I had to ditch mine and run 2 twin M/C's in the car. Means my glovebox is next to useless, but then again, it's just a place for more crap to collect!

We actually adapted a large nissan terano m/c to suit, it fits in there a treat and the outlet pipes come out the bottom so there is no clearance issues with the engine or the strut tower, so ive still got the full factory glove box :)

What about dual 2inch into 2 single boxes into a dual in/out rear box? .. would that be too restrictive?

You can run duals and they will sound great but i promise you will lose tq and power. You need a y pipe at least or a single imo is best for these type of v8s.

get twin 2 1/4inch secondaries y piped into a single 2.5inch or imo perfect but VERY hard to find 2.75inch piping, have 1 resonator and a decent muffler on the back it will sound AWESOME all mandrel bends btw

There is an H pipe!! Im just worried about dual 2 inch as opposed to dual 2 1/4 or 2.5inch pipes.

Can you measure the width of your heads? I think the BMW one is wider hence being unable to use the booster like yours! Did you move it across at all?

How come the resevoir in the top pic looks further away than on the 2nd one?

I'll try to get a pic of mine when I get back.. There's NO room behind the head!!!

Will do for you my freind.

I dunno if it would be the lexus v8 heads are pretty wide to

and yes we did move it across as far as we could go, made new mounts and a longer arm to reach the booster.Fits pretty snug aye

I think that might just be an optical illusion, mate, the M/C sits a little higher than the head
