What did you do to alter that, Jimbo?

Never seen that before. Is it strong enough to withstand harsh British roads?

I presume that is a temp fix, rather than changing the damper and springs for the moment?

Pretty tired tonight, spent the whole day skiving in the garage.

Fitting a radio is not a small job !! All done now and the sub and amp i got off some dude on here are great.

Checked out the non-existent oil pressure light. Sensor was fine, sadly there was no wire to be found anywhere, must have spent 30mins forensically examining the loom with no luck. So I knocked up a OEM style supply and spliced it onto the Brown/Green from pin 5 of the C101. All good again.

Whilst the clocks were out i fitted a load of this foam, i've used it before and it does cut down some of the noise.

Just got to re-fit the side skirt then it's back on the road for next week.

And finally a star guest appearance this evening from this old turd, which is in the garage of dreams for a quick once over this weekend.

Word of warning
Be careful with them inserts as they are known to brake the springs (especially older ones) due to reduced travel and load increase on spring ends.

Thanks Rav, it's not that good close up :(

Little package from Cotswold arrived yesterday meaning I could finish off this little 3 week tart up.

So...can anyone guess where all these go?

This speedo is over reading I think.

Image

70mph at 2550 rpm....with a 3.64 diff and 205/50/15s fitted....not quite so sure about that. It should be 2800rpm with 195/55/15 fitted

Fitted the side skirt back on and finally a little clean ready for work duties tomorrow

Top left is the rear beam exhaust bracket but my tech 1 doesn't have the threaded fixing on the rear beam, does yours or are you going to make something up?
