Looks clean 8)

Two things I'm not keen on are the lower front spoiler and as you say, the wheels. I like the roofbars, never seen those on an E30 before.

What front brakes does it have? You may struggle getting the 15" BBS or 16s over them depending on the size of caliper - that might be the reason those wheels were fitted??

Looking good, you say it runs like a a bag of spanners when cold ? my bet is the blue temp sensor or sensor wiring, they really do run shit when cold when either of the two are fooked, sensors are about £15-£20

Look just behind the dissy cap, there are two sensors in the thermostat housing, one brown one blue. The brown one give the Temp guage its reading, and the other, A blue one give the engine temp to the ecu, a failed one can give bad running when cold, however if its the wiring which is corroded you will need to replace the wiring, you test the wiring with a multi meter at the ecu end, i'am sure brianmoore will be along with which pins it is :)

Liking the roof bars.
Give the car a good service as well as checking those sensors already mentioned.
Should make a difference in your running & mpg.
