hi, just a quick one, i just bought a 323 (auto) with faulty gearbox, any addtional parts should be modified just to fit in the 325 box? or can i use 318 box instead?

Use a 325 gearbox and a 325 radiator. Just make sure you dont buy the switchable box if yours is not. Also you might need to modify the oil pipes coming from the radiator to the gearbox i had some new ones made only £8 each

A switchable box is an Auto 'box, with 3 settings-sports mode, econ.mode & 1,2,3. Theres a switch on centre console for selecting these functions If your 'box isn't switchable, I would imagine retro fitting would be a nightmare.
BTW your car is stunning.

You can use your old radiator, but, the oil fittings on the 325 gearbox they youl be diffrent the what you got on the car at the moment so they will not be a straight fitt, I have a radiator from a 325 with aircon an i find i got better cooling on my car

I had to sell my cromie due to the gearbox going. No time and no funds meant it had to go. At least i know it went to a good home and it will be on the road in no time
Life goes on and so i decided to buy another E30 from chealseaboy

325i manual
