The lip was body color from the factory. Over the years the flat black job became common so that it followed the black rockers and rear valance. Body color is the only way, IMO.polsta wrote:i do like these in white, interesting on the difference between white/black lip, whats the standard ?
Thanks for the pics. I inherited my father's resto project 318is with a mildly massaged M42 and am looking for ideas. Already have EU market bumper moldings (no lenses), EU grilles, rear license panel and analog clock. Need to find some 15" BBS's and a non-A/C front valance eventually.

Always liked the single-slot valance, purely preference.magpie wrote:why change the valance
