I was going to get clear for the sides as it really gives them a nice clean look but where does it end then?!
Gonna keep it all original.
I'm in the process of putting on new orange front indicators over the next week or so.

I've seen that on a few Alpinas. I assume it is added heat protection because of the 6 branch. Barry would know for sure.

it is definitely an original Alpina heat shield, present on my B3 as well.
you can see it in the Alpina E30 parts catalog also...
