Hi, Does anyone know if the boot switch/light on the boot of a convertible should have more than 2 wires going to it. The only reason I ask is that my car is draining the battery at the moment and it looks like someone has done a bit of diy wiring on it. I know the power hood will only work if the boot is shut but I dont know if it use the light switch for this
Cheers Andrew

Usually the boot swith is not pushed down fully - press/glue a cap or something on it, so it gets pressed in more. Another 5mm is usually quite useful..
