are you fitting new servo units? I think it would be better to use the ones which are already installed.

so your saying that your car doesn't have c/l ? (I thought it came as standard)
The best place to mount your servos would be in place of were the factory ones go. The c/l takes very little effort to lock/unlock from the factory servo.
the mounting point can be found below the lock mechanism on the inside of he door. It may also need a bit of WD40.

hmmm, tried to fiddle with it all day, cant atach it to the vertical rod....the original servos mounting point is 15 cm offside from the vertical rod trajectory...hmmm...i'm curious to see what kind of atachment the factory servos have to the locking mechanism....

if your car came with C/L to begin with, why not keep the factory servo's andjust trip them with a wire connection?
If it didn't, I don't know what to tell you then to start replacing stuff or maybe try using some graphite lube.....

Frankly, you would be better off putting your afterrmarket kit on ebay, and getting the proper E30 kit from a scrapyard or from a zoner. The kit will be ten times the quality and will fit perfectly.

thanks, thought of it myself, i'm thinking of trading in the central locking kit that came with the alarm, for a better alarm only and fish for the central locking at the scrapers. eagle alarms any good? how about scorpion alarms?
