Make sure the hazard light switch is in and connected properly?

After you've had the dash apart and that, it may be loose?

I remember when I was installing a chip and plugged the ECU back in, pinched a wire when slotting it in causing the indicators to go mental.

If the fuse only blows when you switch a particular side of the indicators on, then the fault could be anywhere between the indicator switch and the indicator lamps themselves, and the instrument panel warning lights.
A good place to start would be the alarm, if this flashes the indicators, considering the quality of most alarm fitters work that I come across.
