i read somewhere that will6potwill (spelling?) had a double electric fan set up on the front of his radiator, is this true and if so where can i get one or how can i make one? a picture would be nice. seeing as ian332isport has got me disaasembling my dashboard and A/C i may as well chuck the fan in aswell. would be helpful if i coule wire to have one on a switch and the second running with the A/C.

Im pretty sure mine are two electric fans taken off a Porsche 944 Turbo, too bad you didnt ask last week! I was changing my radiator!
Theyre completely automatic from what i know but usually wont even activate, the rad is enough to cool the engine at most times.
Demlotcrew fitted an electric fan to his 318iS and installed a dash switch, he might know a bit more on the technical side.

Hardly exotic!!! b ut very warm and belive me the E30 radiator system is not up to the job, in summer when sitting at lights in the cab, outside 50degress, balck car, A/C on so the electric fan comes on, new viscuos coupling and the only way to stop the beast from soaring high into the red is to set temp controls to hot and full fan!! not pleasant!!!!

will this surely is a good excuse to strip down your front end to clean and take pictures!!! or if you are real nice just whip off the headlight surrounds, kidney surrounds and get a snap shot from the front, pretty please!!!!

by the way for everones info Mitsubishi do a high temp coolant which after much experimentation is by far the best stuff for high temps (above 30) it comes in a litre can and opens like a tin of beans, mix with two parts distilled water and works better then others!!

pretty please will6pot!!??
