Hi i have a 320i with standard wheels on i was thinking of putting some 15's on fron a sport would this give a fauls reading on my speedo because of the larger dia wheels and would this be compatable with a 40mm spring drop, PS the car is totaly standard at the moment

Should have no probs there mate. I think you need to put much bigger rims on before you have speedo issues. 40mm drop is also fine, there are people on here with 90+

Welcome to the zone btw mate

Bugger! I spotted this finishing off after my cambelt swap.

I think I have a 60mm drop and 15's.

Actually, I meant to say, are the front coils hard to swap? I have rebuilt front struts on Capris before. Any particular pitfalls?

Although the 15" rims are larger in diameter than the 14" standard rims the tyre sidewalls are thinner giving almost identical rolling diameter so it doesn't affect the speedo.

The 15 rims should have 205/55/15 tyres.

I have these wheels with a 35/40mm drop on my 2.7 (was originally a 320i) with no issues.

Cheers,
