in my e30 the cassete unit i had before and the cdplayer that is currentyl installed both seem to be overheating, for example when i pull out the cassete or the cd is warm-hot like after half an hour of playing...the cd seems to be hotter than it were spinning in a 52x pc cdrom unit copying it!
is that normal? i seem to be having the same with both stereo units and the wiring is teoreticaly correct.

Nothing you can do with the wiring can make it overheat, except perhaps using speakers with too low an impedance.
Depending on heater settings, the unit can live in a fairly warm enviroment and pushes out quite a few watts of sound from quite a small box.
Don't think there's a problem.
