Hi the abs light lights up and goes out in my 325 as it should, but when i had a bit of a whoopsy and had to brake hard all the wheels just locked up and i nearly parked on the roundabout. Now here's the thing, i have a pre face lift with abs pump, but it has had a motronic 1.3 engine, loom, ECU etc installed. I noticed that when i pulled back the rubber to clean the back of the pins on my c101 plug one day for different reasons, that a certain abs wire has been purposely cut on the engine side of the plug. Any thoughts? Why has it been cut? Would joining it do any harm or fix my problem? Thanks!!

You don't say the colour of the wire but if it is the one I am thinking of then yes joining it can be an issue. Common problem when pre and post facelift wiring is mixed.RossDavies wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 7:24 pmHi the abs light lights up and goes out in my 325 as it should, but when i had a bit of a whoopsy and had to brake hard all the wheels just locked up and i nearly parked on the roundabout. Thanks flybynite il check the wire colour on the car side and engine side, and join it or leave it as per the information you sent.
