m20 purple tag rack

Guys how have you routed the danthe hose that runs around the back of the rack , above or below the engine mount?
Had a quick test fit today and looking at it mines will have to go above .I'm using rs2000 engine mounts if that matters.

I'm quite sure mine goes under the engine arm but over the top of the subframe. I'll look through my pictures now and see if I can make it out
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

It was the pump end i was looking at .Went to the shed tonight and got them on so all good now .Thanks for the replies .

Out of interest, I have had two 330`s (one a sport) and now have a 325 cab (all e46`s) and find the racks on all to be the same but really good, so what is the difference with the purple tag rack please

Hi mate. It's all down the the difference in the internal parts used in the racks.
The purple tag rack from what I've seen has a stronger torsion bar and bigger holes to allow more fluid to pass through.
While they are all 3 turn racks, the purple tag rack is the one with the better feel to it hence is the one everybody wants :cool:
