Electric Windows Convertible

Hi. My e30 soft top is getting ruined due to the front window hitting it everytime i close the door, this also causes my window getting stuck and the door not closing properly. In the latest convertibles the windows go down when the door opens and goes up when the door is closed.

Is there anyway of installing this system in an e30.

It's not technically difficult, using info. from the door pin switches and a heated door lock or interior light delay switch that attaches to the exterior door handle plus a bit of bespoke electronics.
IIRC, there was someone on here offering modules a while back.

It's possible to fit something to do this but it is not required if the windows are adjusted properly.
