Can 325i mass air flow sensor be used on 325e?

I need to get one on 325eta and i need to know is it okay to use 325i if they sell only 325i sensor?

Would engine work?

It will run, but it won't run as well as it should.
I would guess that apart from differences in the resistor track, the ETA AFM also has a weaker spring than a 325i one because of the lower rev. limit, and would fail to fully open at maximum ETA revs.

I tested 325i mass air flow sensor on ETA, it runs 2 seconds and dies.

Are you certain that you don't have other issues? The AFM signal isn't used at idle, so shouldn't affect the engine's ability to start and idle.

Yeah, I have, my eta runs 30 seconds and dies with 2.7 mass air flow sensor, with 2.5 it runs 2 seconds.
