rev counter not working

Hi another small issue rev counter is not working any idea to what it could be.

Same sort of issue here actually (1993 318i touring) but then the rev counter sparks into life after a while.

My SI lights do come on as they should, but not reset them...

SI lights glowing doesn't necessarily mean they're in working condition. After my battery went flat I lost tacho, SI lights and econometer. After a long charge the SI lights were back on again, but it took another 300 miles driving for the tacho and econometer to suddenly spring into life :D

Sorted was a 7.5 amp fuse :D , thanks for the input guys.

The fuse didn't pop without a reason.

You'll be well advised to take the SI board out of the instrument cluster and replace the batteries in the near future. The batteries have failed, and will soon be leaking a corrosive liquid over the circuit board that contains 99% of the electronics for the instrument cluster.

As Grrr says, a blown fuse is a symptom of a fault, not a fault in itself.
Which fuse blew?

Which fuse blew?
The same one which is for the interior lights, there was a short which is now sorted, phew.
