I've had this problem for months but I haven't been driving the e30 so hasn't bothered me  but basically my petrol cap doesn't unlock on my central locking system. I have to be full stretch with my key in the drivers lock, turn it whilst pulling on the cap to get in there!

I'm guessing it's down to the solenoid, haven't really looked at it to be honest. Can I just go to the scrappy for a replacement or it something a bit more technical than that? :stupid:

Not sure where to start mate, but I can send you a replacement off the racer if you want. It's still in there even though the fuel tank is in the boot and there isn't even a pipe behind the flap! lol
