Have you tried bleeding it with the front elevated, either on a steep hill or jacked up?

as per ross's remarks, but if they fails to rid the air locks get it to a garage and have it vacuum bleed....it take minutes and it should only cost you a pint.

I had this problem a week back or so.. Read Andyboys comment near the end. That and raising the front to bleed it at the thermostat as already mentioned worked a treat. Also get the revs up to about 2.5K
