No they are not all the same. There are two main types, 3 piece and two peice and none of the parts are interchangeable.
Cheapest place for stainless is e30zone shop and for mild steel probably the for sale section or motormec/ECP
All depends on what you want to be honest.

We've been here before.
My only comment on this is that a few months ago I tried to fit the rear box from a two piece system on a 320 touring, to the front half of a similar age 325 touring.
oth rear boxes laid out on the workshop floor looked identical, but when I tried to fit it, I found the piece of pipe that slides inside another where the two join was about 1mm too big. Close enough, if it had been the other way around, and close enough for the second pipe, but it would not fit untill I put a couple of saw cuts in the outer pipe and enlaged it a bit.

I think (told by a garage) that they are swappable if the complete system is changed, ie from the manifold/front downpipes joint backwards. Happy to be corrected tho.

thought the only difference was between 325 and 320 (as brian says the diameters are different), so if it is the same engine (and exhaust configuration ie 2 piece or a 3 piece) then there is no reason why a four door exhaust will not fit on your cab, and yes the entire system is interchangable (brackets may need to be changed too) that is to say you can put a 325 or 320 exhaust system (manifold to silencer) onto any other 6pot car, and no difference between 2 door, 4 door, cab and touring.
as all car share the same wheel base etc.
