Hi peeps, can anyone tell me whether the above kits come with a material spec sheet specifying the mechanical properties of the bolts? The reason I'm asking is, I'm a mechanical engineer and am struggling with the idea of paying £100 odd pounds for a set of fasteners which are branded (ARP) when I can get my hands on a box of 100 M10x150 generic cap screws for the same cost. The 12.9 designation refers to the required strength of the bolt i.e UTS > 1220 MPa, yeild strength of > 1100 MPa. I can buy the equivelent cap screws in packs of 20 for far less than the ARP branded ones.
Might this just be a case of "paying for a brand"?

Does anyone know less branded producer of engine studs?
