Help time again, please Guys!
I ordered the 325i boot to go with my new TB. The parts dept at the $tealers were in their usual heplful mode, so I had to supply them with the part number. I went for the one for the same build month as my car.
This doesn't have the take-off on it for the Y-pipe in the top servo vacuum hose. If I run a straight hose to on the top servo take-off will it cause any problems??
They won't take back the boot as it was a special order.
TIA
Stuart.

Hi Mate, I had the same problem a while ago. Neened a new boot ASAP as the old one had split but they only had the version without the take-off for the servo.

I replaced the plastic 'y' with a straight lenght of hose and have had no problems at all.

Cheers,
