m40 camshaft

hey all, i got a cam job on a 316 m40 at the w.end, bein as though all my experiance is with the m10 and m20 i thought id better make sure im not gonna hit a major stop sign half way through the job :mad: im changin the camshaft, followers and belt... any idvise needed or is it a straight forward job? im told the head can stay on with no probs winkeye

how u mean m8? is it like a vernier pully? the m20's can only go back on in 1 posistion due to the knob bit , i take it the m40's dont have the knob bit which fits into the cam...?

dam, the link above doesnt want to work :( does anyone know the dimentions of the cam locking tool? i can only find 1 pic and i cant make out the mesurements
