Might be a silly question...
Just bought a 325i and its a little tappy up top, a friend whos a mechanic says they can just be adjusted and its not a big job, is this correct?
What parts will i need, i guess rocker cover gasket anything else?

if you really want to do it properly, you will need a rocker cover gasket(buy it from GSF) 12 rocker eccentrics (Buy them from GSF for about Ԛ£2 each aswell)it shouldnt need anything else, but if you are doing that, id do an oil change, and give the engine a once-over, so u know that theres nothing else is making a noise.

They are designed to make that noise. The 325iM20 has no tappets in the sense of the word, but it does have rockers which you can adjust the clearances on!

sorry, i forgot to say.....
no, its not a big job. Budget 2 hours if you are a home mechanic. A pro should do it in about an hour and 20 minutes, max.
