Coolant level sensor location?

Does anybody know where the coolant level sensor is located on me 325i ? I reckon mine is boogered. I have a 318i for spares. Are the sensors the same ?

not sure if same but i think its the one in the expansion tank mate nearest the headlight take off plug and unscrew but beware it may fall apart mine did lol dnt think they cost much new mate Daz

The type that fit with the connector end upwards (e.g 325 type) is different from a 318i one which fits with the connector downwards, in the bottom of the header tank on the rad.
If you fit the wrong one, it will indicate coolant OK when it's low, and coolant low when it's full.
GSF and Eurocarparts are both capable of supplying the wrong one!
