any ideas why fuse 17 keeps blowing?, it's the fuse for the electric windows (doors closed). they work for a bit then blow, is there any thing i should be looking out for to solve this problem? that's driving me :x

are the windows stiff, i.e do they take time to go up. if so maybe there is too much strain/load on the motors causing the relay to trip/blow.

not saying this is why, just a sugestion

good luck

it's 30 amp, would i be right in thinking it may have something to do with a faulty door pin switch? as also the interior lights only work when you open the passenger door and yet don't work when you open the drivers door

I had this problem and it turned out to be one of the switches, changed the offending switch and all`s ok :D.

Good luck.

30A is the correct rating.
Your driver's door pin switch needs a service, but this won't be anything to do with the fuse blowing.
Do you just find the fuse blown when you try to use the windows, or does it blow when you are actually moving one?
Any possibility of any aftermarket stuff having been connected to fuse 17?
Has fuse 28 ever blown instead with the doors open, or is the fuse blowing so infrequent that this is statistically unlikely?
