I have attempted to refit a new seat cable in my sport seat (driver), i can't seem to attach it on the lift up mechanism, i have tried attaching the cable on the lift lever on the side but then there is no way to stretch the cable to fit on the mechanism. Any ideas before i fork out cash  to get it done!

I did this recently, but it went in quite easily, iirc I put the handle end of the cable first, then fitted the lower part....I know it's not much help!

as above really put it into the lever first then feed the wire down put lil white plastic bit tube thing in hole at bottom of seat then slide white square piece into the lower mechanism and put clip end over the catch and thats it done mat
