Overheating/damp LH carpet.

Hi chaps and chapesses. I'm thinking leaking heater matrix or controller for the above indications. Any advice for access and necessary removal/refitting of possible offenders will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

I suspect there is more than one, since the Wiki states: "The heater valve connects the matrix to the stub pipes, and its joints and O-rings can break down over time."

Thanks Speedtouch. Great leads and advice. Had a fun morning getting the valve off. Stripped it down and the diaphragm is torn to bits. So a firm answer to the problem. Just off to sell my first born to afford a replacement!
