Can anybody confirm this gearbox will fit with a twisted gear linkage, I don't know what it's out of but from what I can see online it's a standard gearbox for the 325

the 250gG should fit as the 2.0 E46 was an M52TU, same as the 2.8. Only thing I would say is it is maybe not the strongest box so keep in mind when driving it but many have run small boxes on swaps just fine.
The correct box for the M52TUB28 is the ZF S5-31 (S5D 310Z) but admittedly not many around

You have an M52 engine and the gearbox for an M52. You don't have any M20 bits on it just use everything for M52

Depends on a few factors
What do you have already
How much are you willing to spend
How do you want to drive, fast road or just cruising etc

I have the gearbox and 2.8 engine the car will not be raced maybe a bit of spirited driving every now and again, I have found a clutch kit inc flywheel for 190. 00.
But I am a bit confused (nothing new I know) the gearbox is from a 2L but the clutch I am looking at is for a 2.8 I presume it will fit ??

The clutch you use must match the flywheel, the 2.8 stuff is always 240mm so its a good option, if its an E46 era box it 'should' fit over a 2.8 fly/clutch but people have run into problems with bigger engine flywheels in smaller engined boxes
